Notice that the edges of the molds for this Classic dinghy have been coated with epoxy. After the epoxy cured, the edges of the molds were also coated with bee's wax to keep the glue on the strips from sticking to the molds.

Once you reach the top of the stem where the strips coming up the sides of the hull meet the centerline strip, the strips must have their ends trimmed to match the edge of the keel strip.
