After the cloth is wetted out, use a squeegee to remove excess epoxy. As the epoxy cures, it releases gas bubbles that will tend to lift the cloth from the surface of the hull in areas of excess epoxy. For best results, use as little epoxy as possible in the wetting out process.

After the initial wetting out coat, you will need to apply at least three and maybe four additional coats of epoxy to completely fill out the weave of the 6 oz. cloth.
