Congratulations to Bob Keefe of Talent, OR  on completion
of is latest 12' Fisherman. This boat was built 35% oversize
in the transverse sections.

John,
The little boat has caused a lot of comment, people seam to like it.  As you know it was more of an experiment and now I wish I had made it at least fourteen ft.  At the time it was just something to do for the winter.  We have had a long stretch of hot weather but this morning at ten o'clock the temperature is only sixty degrees, very unusual for the 4th of August.  This should make the fire fighters happy.  Alice wants to know if the warm weather down there has helped the Arthritis.  This is one of her problems, mostly in the hands .  From your letter I don't think you have had time to sit down and think
about such things.  I can realize a move like you and Chris have made takes a long time for the waves to settle down.
Bob
