Although designed at a 9' length the Yacht Tender can be built at the 7 and 8 foot lengths.  The shorter hulls are more difficult to build because the wood strips resist taking the compound curves more so at the shorter lengths.  You will find specifications for the 7 and 8 foot hulls in the Yacht Tender construction manual.
